- Johnson & Johnson, USA announced to plan seperate Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company in USA. The process of the planned seperation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representation bodies, as required, and other country customary conditions and approvals.
- Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health in India and your employment would be governed by New Consumer Health's employment processes, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided by the New Consumer Health organization at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Position Summary
- The position oversights the execution of Quality Management Systems and Compliance at assigned Distribution Centers in
- India, for receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of the commercial products of Consumer Health and of other hosted segments along with Commercial Quality responsibilities for franchise, meeting all applicable local regulations as well as Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Quality Policy Standards and Procedures thereunder.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for effective deployment at the assigned DCs, of Quality Management Systems and ensure its ongoing compliance for receipt to distribution of finished products.
- Ensure preparedness of Distribution Centers for Audits and Inspections Ensure appropriate action plans are developed, effectively implemented and timely closed.
- Responsible for records & document management system in Document Management System as applicable
- Serve as Controlled Substance (CS) Responsible person. Ensure implementation of CS SOP at DC’s for compliance and abiding by local regulations.
- Ensure excursion management at DCs are implemented and appropriate action plans are effectively managed and closed.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance of products marketed in India domestic market as well as in this distributor-based markets (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives) to the applicable local regulations and J&J requirements
- Responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management including NPD/NPI, Trade customization, product discontinuation of assigned franchise portfolio
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Required Minimum Education: University Degree in Pharmaceutical sciences, Biological Sciences or Technology
- Required Years of Related Experience: Around 3 to 4 years of experience in Quality function in Health Care industry/Cosmetic/Pharmaceutical. Ability to manage multiple stakeholder and work in highly matrixed global organizations.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong knowledge of Good Distribution practices and Industrial Standards, JNJ Standards Procedures and other quality systems & guidelines of Cross-sectors.
- Strong Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders within Deliver operations, Commercial Quality organization (x sector) and Service providers and interpersonal skills
- Decision Making & Problem Solving
- Maintain highest standards of Ethics, Quality compliance and act in accordance with quality and compliance objectives
